'Kids are dying': Uvalde resident pleads for action, not prayers following school shooting
At a vigil for the victims of the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, residents and families gathered to seek comfort in their community. Uvalde resident Menda Mata expressed anger and frustration at the lack of progress to stop school shootings, saying "Your prayers? I'm sorry? That's nothing anymore. Kids are dying, they're slaughtered."
