New poll shows Trump leading Democrats in Mississippi race for president

A new Mason-Dixon poll shows President Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in the race for president in Mississippi.

Statewide, it shows him ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden 56% to 42%.

The poll also shows Trump leading Sen. Bernie Sanders 59% to 36%.

Both Biden and Sanders came out with big wins after Super Tuesday.

In the race for a Mississippi U.S. Senate seat, the poll shows Republican incumbent Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith with a 10-point lead of 53 to 43 over Democratic challenger Mike Espy.

This is a rematch of their 2018 special election face-off.
