Chang's frozen meals recalled Over two million pounds of P.F. Chang's frozen meals have been recalled due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced Saturday.

The recall will affect P.F. Chang's Home Menu Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice. The USDA's food safety and inspection service announced that the products contained milk, "a known allergen," which was not declared on their product labels.

Conagra Brands Inc., which produces the P.F. Chang's frozen foods, discovered the mislabeling when it was conducting a "routine label verification check," according to the USDA.

So far, there have been no reports of adverse reactions to the products, but consumers who have them in their freezers are being encouraged to throw them away or return them.

The USDA said the pad thai and fried chicken products were distributed to retailers around the country.

The recall doesn't include products sold at P.F. Chang's restaurants.

Conagra Brands previously recalled other P.F. Changs products due to the "potential presence of small metal fragments (2-9mm) in the sugar used in the sauce" in 2016, and earlier this year recalled a host of chicken and rice products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens as well.
