Reaction to Biden’s decision to revoke permit for Keystone XL pipeline
President Biden's decision to rescind permitting for the Keystone XL pipeline, which has been a political and cultural football for the past 12 years, was cheered by environmentalists and tribal activists on the American side of the border and strenuously opposed by many in Canada. NBC’s Joshua Johnson spoke to people on both sides of the debate: Jason Kenney, the Premier of Alberta, Canada and Nick Tilsen, a citizen of the Oglala Lakota nation.
