Sherrilyn Ifill: 'Exciting' that Kamala Harris is set to make history
Sherrilyn Ifill, President and Director-Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, joins Andrea Mitchell on Martin Luther King Jr. Day as Kamala Harris is set to make history as the first woman and first Black and South Asian-American to serve as Vice President. Ifill says, "Even as history is being made, we are returning in the United States Senate to a very grim look at representation in that body. There's tremendous work still to be done but nevertheless, incredibly exciting that Kamala Harris is making this move."
