Travel volume nears pre-pandemic levels over Independence Day weekend
Americans from coast to coast are celebrating Independence Day over the long weekend, but getting home from the holiday may not be so easy. AAA estimates nearly 48 million people are on the move, just shy of pre-pandemic levels. However staffing shortages and poor weather are causing delays and cancelations at airports nationwide.
