With the first 2020 presidential debate a day away, Twitter wants to see a ladies' night on the fight card — a First Lady’s night.

Buzz of an unlikely war of words between Dr. Jill Biden and First Lady Melania Trump erupted on Twitter Sunday, where the consensus seemed to be that the woman currently in the White House would be an underdog.

Daily Beast editor-at-large Molly Jong-Fast fast-tracked the idea by running in by her more than 700,000 Twitter followers Sunday.

“Omg @DrBiden should debate Melania Trump,” she suggested.

On paper, that debate would appear to be a huge mismatch. Biden, 69, holds two master’s degrees and a doctoral degree from the University of Delaware, where her husband Joe, who debates President Trump Tuesday, is also a graduate.

Melania Trump, 50, had for years claimed to have graduated from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, appears to be untrue. She reportedly enrolled in only a year of classes. Racked.com reported that she stated under oath that she had a degree in architecture.

“The Liddle’est President” author and popular Twitter personality Majid M. Padellan declared that a Biden-Trump she-bate would be over before it begins.

“Dr. Jill Biden would easily wipe the floor with Melania trump in a debate, not even close,” he said.

The First Lady also claims to speak five languages, which the fact-checking site Snopes rates “Unproven.” At least one Twitter follower said she’s like to hear Trump in her native tongue before placing bets on how the Slovenian immigrant, who came to the U.S. in 1996, would match-up with Biden.

“That would be patently unfair since Melania is not fluent in English,” Biden supporter Dawn Finlayson wrote. “Maybe she could debate in Slovenian, & a translator would let us know her thoughts. Seriously, I wish to hear her in her native tongue so I could judge if she really is stupid, or if it’s a language issue.”

Biden, who was born in Hammonton, N.J., is an English professor. She married the former vice president in 1977 and is his second wife. The Democratic nominee’s first wife, Neilia, was killed in a 1972 car crash.

Trump, who’s bio says she made a successful living as a model in Europe before coming to the U.S., is the third wife of President Trump, who has twice divorced. As First Lady, she has championed her “Be Best” initiative, which supports causes related to children. She and the president have a teenage son who lives in the White House.

While there are no debates scheduled between the First Lady and her would-be successor, the gentlemen will square off Tuesday night, then twice more in October. The Democratic challenger goes into his first showdown with the President leading in polls. Trump has questioned the legitimacy of those polls.
