U.S. freestyle skier dies in avalanche in Japan
A U.S. freestyle skier has died after being caught in an avalanche, his family confirmed. Kyle Smaine, based in Lake Tahoe, California, was among five skiers engulfed by an avalanche near a winter resort in central Japan.
