Arkansas passes bill to ban gender-affirming care for trans youth
Arkansas passed a bill banning gender-affirming care for trans youth. The legislation would ban access to things like reversible puberty blockers and hormones. The deputy for transgender justice at the ACLU called it, “The single most extreme anti-trans law to ever pass through a single legislature.” NBC News’ Jo Yurcaba explains what the bill will mean for trans kids in the state.
