Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 2 courses released

The countdown to the release of the next set of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe courses is finally almost over–Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass has finally been released on August 4.

Nintendo fans have been eager for this second wave since the first wave was released back in March, which reinvigorated the game and got lots of fans back into the Mario Kart we all know and love.

Wave 2 contains two cups and eight courses, including a brand new track titled Sky-High Sundae.

There will be six ‘Waves’ to this DLC in total, with each one delivering another eight tracks to the fans. The release dates for Wave 3, Wave 4, Wave 5 and Wave 6 have not been confirmed yet.

The courses include classic tracks from previous games including Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii, and Mario Kart Tour.

Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass releases today, with eight tracks becoming available.

    • Tour New York Minute (Mario Kart Tour)
    • SNES Mario Circuit 3 (Super Mario Kart)
    • N64 Kalimari Desert (Mario Kart 64)
    • DS Waluigi Pinball (Mario Kart DS)
  • Propeller Cup

    • Tour Sydney Sprint (Mario Kart Tour)
    • GBA Snow Land (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
    • Wii Mushroom Gorge (Mario Kart Wii)
    • Sky-High Sundae

Mario Kart 8 Wave 2 price

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass costs £24.99 and inclueds all 48 DLC tracks, released across six waves. Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack subscribers will also get access to the DLC.
