Nasa spots bizarre ‘space spaghetti’ on Mars and offers no explanation

Metro Logo Metro | Slide 1 of 5: The Red Planet is full of curiosities (although so far, no little green men), and some strange objects have been uncovered on the alien planet by robot space explorers. The latest image Nasa has sent us from Mars' surface doesn't disappoint; its a picture of a tangled, spaghetti-like piece of what could be debris on the desert floor, or perhaps some sort of alien litter. Whatever it is, it doesn't look like a naturally occurring object (Credit: Nasa/JPL-Caltech)
