Officials prep for more kids' COVID-19 vaccines amid Pfizer news
Baltimore-area health officials are preparing for an increase in COVID-19 vaccination administration. Pfizer announced Monday that studies show its COVID-19 vaccine will protect the youngest children against the deadly virus. The company said it plans to submit full data to federal regulators this week. There are new developments on vaccines for children as 5- to 11-year-olds can get their booster shots now, and children under 5 could start getting their first COVID-19 shots by the summer.
