Many fans seem to be waiting for the compatibility update between Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and Pokemon Home. In fact, the feature has been so highly anticipated that leaks of the Pokemon Home patch were even shared online. Now, it seems The Pokemon Company is ready to provide the official release date of the connectivity patch for the Pokemon community.

On Twitter, The Pokemon Company shared that the Pokemon Home compatibility update, or version 3.0.0, for Scarlet and Violet will be accessible to fans by May 30, 2023. In a previous tweet, the company mistakenly said that the update would be available on May 24, 2023. According to the social media post, Pokemon Home will be in maintenance from May 29, 5:00 PM Pacific Time and this could extend until May 30, 11:00 PM Pacific Time. This means that players will not be able to access the app for any transfers and should wait until maintenance is over before they try to get into their accounts.
Given that the previous release date is only six days away from the official one, players are likely satisfied with how efficiently the situation was handled, especially since many have been waiting to get their hands on the promised Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter rewards for transferring pocket creatures to Pokemon Home. Getting an extra starter Pokemon is likely something that many Scarlet and Violet players have been looking forward to since the announcement of the compatibility update.
With only a few days to wait until the release of the long-awaited Pokemon Home connectivity patch, members of the community are hopeful that The Pokemon Company will not cancel on them again. Hopefully the fan base's faith holds true and they will finally get access to the update as promised by the company.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
