Tourism industry in Baltimore seeks to rebound amid pandemic
Baltimore's tourism industry took a big hit from the COVID-19 pandemic, but the July Fourth holiday weekend marks the first celebration in the city since 2019. Even before the holiday weekend, people who live around Baltimore's Inner Harbor said they have noticed an uptick in visitors. The city saw a steep drop in visitors starting in the spring of 2020 with the pandemic and its restrictions dealing a big blow to tourism everywhere.
