Nov. 11—A 10-year-old boy trapped in a go-cart that went under a guard rail at a Naperville trampoline and amusement park was freed Wednesday night by Naperville firefighters.

Division Chief Scott Salela said the child was riding on a track at the Urban Air trampoline and adventure park at 1955 Glacier Ave., just off Route 59, about 7:45 p.m. when he ran into a rubber guard rail and became wedged beneath it.

Firefighters used battery-powered spreaders to lift the guard rail and remove the steering wheel to free the child, Salela said.

The boy was transported to Edward Hospital in Naperville as a precaution.
