The Arkansas Department of Health reported on Monday its Public Health Laboratory is currently testing 2 people for the coronavirus disease.

The Health department said in a release that the lab now has the capability to test for COVID-19. Tests will be performed according to PUI guidance as determined by the CDC, the ADH said in a release.

"We are committed to keeping the public informed with as much information as we have about the virus," the ADH said in a release.

According to the department's website, the agency is also monitoring 29 travelers with "daily ADH check-in and guidance."
