26 northwest Louisiana coronavirus cases, numbers will continue to climb

The total number of northwest Louisiana (Region 7) coronavirus cases reported Sunday morning is now 26.

Caddo Parish had the only coronavirus case increase by one, bringing the total number for Caddo to 16.

All the other northwest Louisiana Parishes reported so far, had no increase since Saturday evening.

Also, as of Sunday, 837 coronavirus cases have been reported with 1,385 state lab tests completed and 2,113 commercial lab tests completed.

So far, 36 of the 64 Parishes have confirmed coronavirus cases.

Friday and Saturday

The total number of positive coronavirus cases in northwest Louisiana, increased from 21 to 25 from Friday morning to Saturday evening.

Caddo Parish cases increased from 13 Saturday morning to 15 by Saturday evening. Bossier Parish cases remains at five. DeSoto Parish cases remains the same as Saturday morning, at two. Webster Parish cases are also the same at one.

Two additional area parishes are showing results. Claiborne Parish has one case. Bienville Parish also has one case.

Additionally, by Sunday morning, there were 1,385 state lab tests and 2,113 commercial tests.

Thirty-six of the 64 Parishes now have reported cases.

Information on the number of reported cases is updated twice a day at 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on the Louisiana Department of Health website.
