As the number of COVID-19 cases in Duval County continues to climb, options to get tested for the coronavirus are expanding as well.

Monday the Florida Division of Emergency Management announced three new federal testing sites would open in Jacksonville.

The new sites — located in the Northside, Westside and Arlington — are all drive-thru options and are available for ages 5-and-up. No symptoms are required to get tested.

They are each appointment-only, while existing options run by the city, like Lot J drive-thru testing and Legends Center walk up testing do not require an appointment.

The three federal sites will operate from Wednesday through July 15 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Appointments can be made by visiting DoINeedACovid19Test.com. Testing is free at the federal sites, as well as at the Florida Department of Health in Duval County site, Lot J and Legends Center testing sites.
