4 firefighters injured in accident involving Mastersonville Fire Company engine
Officials from the Mastersonville Fire Company say their engine was involved in an accident early Saturday morning.
They say crews were responding to a barn fire on Sunnyside Road when the accident occurred.
Sign up for our NewslettersAccording to fire officials, four firefighters were taken to a hospital. On Sunday, the Mastersonville Fire Company posted on Facebook that all four firefighters have left the hospital and are recovering. The fire engine is not expected to go back into service.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
