Videos show the protesters sitting in front of the Microsoft store on Fifth Avenue as a group of police officers warns them to move or face arrest.

Many of the demonstrators were chanting, "Being a human being will never be illegal."

Others were holding signs like "no business with ICE," "abolish ICE" and "we will not be complicit."

It wasn't immediately known how many arrests were made, but the protesters didn't appear to be following police orders in videos posted to social media.

It also wasn't clear why the demonstrators were protesting in front of Microsoft, although previous protests outside tech companies have involved their role in helping ICE technologically. Protesters targeted Microsoft earlier this year for the company's $19.4 million contract with the immigration enforcement agency.
