Wednesday, Sept. 16

Valarie Contreras, 18 of the 500 block of Mercury Avenue, pursuant to a traffic stop was arrested for DWI possession of marijuana and resisting/obstructing an officer. Contreras was released on her own recognizance. To appear in Municipal Court.

Misha Cole, 38 of the 1500 block  Mountain View, pursuant to dogs running on the roadway was issued a Municipal Court non-traffic citation for animals at-large. Cole is to appear in Municipal Court.

Marcus Carter, 20 of the 2400 block of Byrd Avenue, pursuant to dogs running in the roadway was issued a Municipal Court non-traffic citation for animals-at-large. To appear in Municipal Court.

Crystal Sanchez, 32 of Tularosa, pursuant to an agency assist, was arrested on a Department of Correction warrant for probation violation. Sanchez was incarcerated into OCDC. To appear in District Court.

Shanea Martin, 36 of the 700 block of Post, pursuant to public contact at 1376 East Ninth Street (City Hall), was arrested on a Municipal Court warrant for FTP. Martin was released back to the courts.

Tonya Cupples, 54, of Poco Grande, pursuant to a shoplifting call at Wal-Mart (233 South New York Avenue) was issued a Municipal Court non-traffic citation for shoplifting. Cupples failed to scan numerous items while at the self-checkout register. To appear in Municipal Court.

Kristopher M. George, 22, of the 400 block of East 12th Street, pursuant to a traffic stop,

was arrested on a no bond hold 12th Judicial District Court bench warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation. George was additionally cited into Municipal Court for tail lamps required and driving while revoked. George was incarcerated and to appear in District Court as scheduled.

Sarah Ochoa, 35, of  El Paso, TX, pursuant to public contact at King’s Treasure, 1500 North White Sands Boulevard, was issued a non traffic citation for scavenging prohibited. Ochoa is to appear in Municipal Court as scheduled.

Ronald Bolin, 39, of the 100 block of Desert Dunes, pursuant to public contact at North

Florida Avenue and Indian Wells Road, was arrested on two Municipal Court bench warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fines. Mr. Bolin was booked, then released on

his own recognizance and is to appear in Municipal Court as scheduled. 

Tuesday. Sept. 15

Christopher Salcido, 56 of the 1100 block of Cuba Avenue pursuant to contact at Municipal Court was served with Municipal Court warrant for FTP. Salcido was released to the courts for an immediate appearance.

James Molinas, 33 of the 1400 block of Gray was arrested for larceny over $500. Molinas took a Diamond Back Bicycle from the back of a vehicle and attempted to ride the bicycle home. Molinas was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when ordered. 

Jason Ford, 33 of the 1800 block of Corte Del Sol pursuant to a traffic stop and DWI investigation was arrested charged with DWI and tail lamps. Ford was ultimately incarcerated and is to appear in Municipal Court when summonsed. 20A-10035

Monday, Sept. 14

David Torres, 45 of the 100 block of Virginia Avenue pursuant to contact at Municipal Court was served with Municipal Court Warrant for FTP. Torres was released to the courts for immediate appearance.

Mary Taylor, 37 of the 2300 block of Rolland pursuant to contact at OCDC was served with Magistrate Court criminal complaint for possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Taylor    remained incarcerated and is to appear in Magistrate Court when ordered.

Crystal Sanchez, 32 of Tularosa, pursuant to a disturbance call was arrested for two  counts of battery upon a peace officer and assault upon a peace officer. Sanchez was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in Magistrate Court when ordered.

Kenneth Dewayne, 48 of the 1100 block of Seventh Street pursuant to contact at APO was arrested for adult probation warrant. Dewayne was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in District Court when ordered.

Paul Furphy, 68 of the 1800 block of Rutz Circle pursuant to contact at Municipal Court was served with Municipal Court Warrant for FTA. Furphy was released to the courts for immediate appearance.

Robert Walton, 41 of the 700 block of South Canyon pursuant to contact at Municipal Court was served with two Municipal Court Warrants for FTA and FTP. Walton was released to the courts for immediate appearance. 

Hoyt Inman, 45 of Las Cruces was arrested for Magistrate Court condition of release revocation. Inman was incarcerated at OCDC and is to appear in District Court when ordered.

Rae Lambert, 45 of the 800 block of Travis Court pursuant to contact at Municipal Court

was served with two Municipal Court Warrants for FTP and FTA. Lambert was released on her own recognizance and is to appear in Municipal Court when Ordered. 

Criminal damage reported by Sara Millicent of the 700 block of Post unknown person(s)

threw a brick through her kitchen window at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Sept .14. No suspects at this time. 

Daryn Smith-Brinker, 25 of Alamogordo, pursuant to public contact was arrested for Municipal Court Warrant for failure to appear. Smith- Brinker was ultimately released to appear in Municipal Court as ordered. 

Peter Dahlin, 53 of the 1600 block of Abuelito pursuant to public contact was issued a

non-traffic citation for trespassing after he was located on property of 233 South New York (Wal-Mart) where he had previously been trespassed from. Dahlin is to appear in Municipal Court as ordered.

Structure Fire: at approximately 5:53 a.m. Alamogordo Fire Department, APD and ambulance responded to the 1500 block of Jefferson on a structure fire with visible flames. Fire was quickly extinguished, and the residence appeared to be under construction and uninhabited at the time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
