Big rig crosses into oncoming I-5 traffic and crashes in Glenn County

A big rig crashed off Interstate 5 Wednesday morning after driving into oncoming traffic in Glenn County.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Interstate 5 near County Road 39 north of Willows.

Willows CHP said the semi-truck was headed northbound when it crossed into southbound traffic and crashed through a fence. The truck came to rest in a field on the west side of the interstate. The two trailers tipped onto their sides. The CHP said fuel may be leaking from the truck.

No one was injured, and the crash is not impacting traffic. Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, is traditionally one of the busiest travel days of the year.
