Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka suspended for entire season
The Boston Celtics are benching their head coach Ime Udoka for the entire season, saying in a statement that he violated team policies. ESPN reports that the suspension is over a consensual relationship with a female staffer. Udoka told ESPN he is “sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation.” NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk has more details.
