‘Budtenders Ball’ celebrates big month of sales for recreation marijuana in Missouri
The State of Missouri announced last week that the state had over $100 million worth of marijuana sales last month.
That left a lot of businesses in Kansas City and around the state happy and thankful.
Sign up for our NewslettersOn Monday, Grön hosted a private party at The Ship in the West Bottoms to thank ‘budtenders’ for all their work the past month.
About 200 people attended the event, which had giveaways, food and prizes.

Business owners say the state has done a good job launching recreational use of marijuana.
"Missouri has been just a fantastic market. It's a brilliant community,” said Christine Smith, the founder and CEO of Grön. “The state has done a really good job bringing it into adult use has been fantastic and I think this is one of the most successful launches into adult use that I've seen in the industry."
Sales numbers for marijuana will be released every month by the State of Missouri.
