Butts County Fire crews battle fire at Burger King

BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. --Butts County first responders had to extinguish a fire at the home of the Whopper Burger earlier today. 

Along with Butts County Fire crews, Jackson Fire Department responded to the Burger King at the corner of 3rd Street and College Street. 

Battalion 1(B1) arrived on the scene and saw a large amount of smoke showing. 

Due to the building being a commercial structure, B1 requested Ladder 7 to respond to the scene. 

Crews were able to stop the fire's progression and extinguish the fire. 

"Great job to A-Shift crews and the JFD," shared the Butts County Fire Department.
