GOP senator continues to push riot conspiracy theory Anthony Aguero, a close ally of Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, took part in the January 6 mob at the Capitol and said he was among those who eventually made their way into the building. CNN's Erin Burnett reports this contradicts a conspiracy theory that continues to be pushed by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

A vehicle caught fire while it was inside a home garage in a Palm Desert neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported 2:05 p.m. in the 73-000 block of El Hasson Circle, according to Cal Fire. The scene is in Marrakesh Country Club, which is west of Portola Avenue and north of Haystack Road
The vehicle was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters contained the blaze at 2:39 p.m. and there were not any reports of injuries. They were expected to remain at the scene through Thursday afternoon.
