Little hope of finding survivors after Italy glacier collapse Rescuers have warned that hopes of finding survivors are diminishing after an avalanche set off by the collapse of an Italian glacier during a heatwave killed at least seven people. Authorities said they did not know how many climbers were caught when the glacier gave way on Sunday on Marmolada, the highest mountain in the Italian Dolomites.

"I don't think people believe that's gonna happen, but it's gonna happen and it's gonna telegraph to the whole country" he said as he met with governors on Reproductive Rights.

Suspect in pro cyclist killing returns to Texas A woman suspected in the fatal shooting of professional cyclist Anna Moriah Wilson has been returned to Texas after she was found and arrested in Costa Rica. (July 4)

A child is dead after being found locked inside a car in southwest Houston on Friday, according to the Houston Police Department.
This happened on Ingomar Way near the Sam Houston Tollway. Police said the infant's mother left her in a car seat while the vehicle wasn't running for several hours.
HPD said when the mother realized she had left the child in the car, the infant was unresponsive. The child was pronounced dead after the mother brought her to a hospital.
Police said an investigation is underway and the case will be referred to a grand jury.
This is a developing story that will be updated if/when more information becomes available.
