Coronavirus snapshot: U.S., global

The U.S., which confirmed 41,708 cases and 573 deaths as of Monday afternoon, trailed only Italy and China in reported infections. Confirmed cases, however, are a function of testing. Worldwide cases of confirmed coronavirus are at 367,457 as of Monday afternoon and there are 16,113 deaths, according to the Johns Hopkins University data dashboard.
