Fire crews in Brigham City battled a fire at a shed during the early morning hours Saturday.

Brigham City Fire Department said the call about the fire at 3000 North 2650 West came in at approximately 5:40 a.m.

When crews arrived they said the fire was spreading to an adjacent home, and a parked truck nearby was also on fire.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Crews said due to gusty wind conditions and limited hydrants, the fire was difficult to contain and put out.

At 7 a.m. all crew members were able to safely extinguish the flames.

According to the Brigham City Fire press release, there was an estimated cost of damage to be about $175,000.

In total, units from Corinne, Willard and Tremonton responded to help fight the flames.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.

An investigation into what started the fire is still ongoing.
