The Winter Haven Police Department says one woman is dead after an overnight crash.

Around 11:25 Monday night, police say a woman was driving eastbound on Havendale Boulevard when her car hit the curb and flipped in the area of 15th Street Northwest. Her car continued and hit a TECO power pole, according to the report.

One lane of eastbound Havendale Boulevard at 16th Street to Highway 17 is open while Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate.

Officers say drivers will see delays through the morning as crews repair the

TECO power pole.
