D.C. Police have located and charged a parent of a young boy found in a garage of a northeast grocery store Friday night.
The Metropolitan Police Department said a 3-year-old boy named "Jamari" emerged from a black Chevy Malibu parked in the Giant garage in the 300 block of H Street NE around 8:48 p.m. The car had unknown Maryland temporary tags.
The child was left unattended in the vehicle and exited without the parent's knowledge, according to a police report.

Officers said the three or four-year-old boy, possibly named "Jamari," emerged from a black Chevy Malibu parked in the Giant garage in the 300 block of H Street NE around 8:48 p.m. The car had unknown Maryland temporary tags.
‘Jamari’ is described as a Black male, medium brown complexion, approximately 3 feet tall and 47 pounds, with braids in his hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red shirt, green pants, and green crocs.
