Gov. DeWine helps to cut ribbon at Kroger's first automated distribution center

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine made an appearance in Southwestern Ohio to help Kroger cut the ribbon on its first automated distribution center in the U.S.

The ribbon cutting was scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday.

The 375,000 square-foot customer fulfillment center uses artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, and automation to fill home delivery grocery orders in the Cincinnati and Dayton regions, Gov. DeWine's office shared.
