Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC hosts briefing on autonomous vehicles

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation on Wednesday hosted a transportation briefing on autonomous vehicles.

The director of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Office of Transformational Technology said Pennsylvania is leading the way for automated vehicles.

"Pittsburgh is emerging and leading nationally and internationally. We have an opportunity with logistics in this region and other transportation and infrastructure to take this technology and be a national leader," said Ryan Unger, with the Harrisburg Regional Chamber.

Unger says this technology is growing, and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber is excited to see what's in store for the state.
