ATLANTA — Traffic in Atlanta can be a zoo. But this particular tale about Buckhead logjams might be considered the Greatest Of All Time.

A herd of goats was spotted roaming the streets near the corner of Piedmont and Peachtree roads munching on grass and leaves late Monday morning, Atlanta Police said.

Around 10:32 a.m., officers responded to reports of the goats wandering in the road, a police spokesman said.

Apparently, police said the goats were brought in to eat weeds growing behind the Kroger on Piedmont when they got loose.

Animal Control and the owner of the herd have been called and are working to get the animals under control.
