How to watch N.J. Gov. Murphy answer coronavirus questions live at 4:30 p.m. on’s Facebook page logo 3/20/2020 By Brent Johnson,

Gov. Phil Murphy will answer questions at 4:30 p.m. on’s Facebook page about New Jersey’s unprecedented closures and statewide response to the coronavirus outbreak gripping the state and the nation.

New Jersey has confirmed at least 890 known cases of the virus as of Friday afternoon, including 11 deaths.

Murphy said Friday during an afternoon briefing that a shut down of non-essential businesses in New Jersey is planned and could be announced as soon as Saturday.

The governors of California and New York have issued orders for people to stay at home, unless they are essential workers or need to make essential trips for food.

Murphy has taken several steps in recent days to try to curb the virus. He closed all schools, movie theaters, casinos, gyms, barbershops, salons, and indoor malls, limited restaurants to takeout and delivery, restricted public gatherings to 50 people, and “strongly” suggested people stay off the roads overnight.

Head to at 4:30 p.m. for the live interview.
