I-83 reopens after fatal accident in York County

The York County Coroner confirms that an adult male has died after the car was driving rolled over on I-83 Northbound, ejecting him from the vehicle.

That man was then hit by a second car. 

His identity has not been released at this time.

State Police are investigating the accident.


Authorities say at least one person has been killed following an accident on I-83NB in Conewago Township, York County, just above the Strinestown exit. 

Officials say one car rolled over, with an unknown number of injuries. 

The incident took place between Exit 24: Pa. 238 – Emigsville and Exit 28: Pa. 297 – Zions View/Strinestown.
