Jefferson County Sheriff's Department patrols will continue a 36-year holiday tradition of providing shopper safety patrols throughout the holiday season in the Wal-Mart area, as well as lots along Mall Drive and at the Hollywood Plaza.
Sheriff Fred Abdalla said the patrols are to ensure shopper safety and make sure those who need assistance receive it.
