The Jersey City School district says it now has enough Chromebook laptops to outfit students without computer access, but a breakdown in communication between parents and schools appears to be leaving some kids offline.

The city of Hoboken announced on Tuesday new outdoor winter dining regulations that will permit restaurants and eateries to use both propane and electric heat lamps but also require plans for snow removal. Plus, a World War II veteran from North Bergen, who just celebrated his 100th birthday, says that serving in the war made him love his country even more.
