(WLUC) - U.P. schools are closing school buildings and conducting classes virtually due to coronavirus cases.

As of Nov. 13 at 7:30 a.m., TV6 & FOX UP are aware that the following schools have changes in effect or planned:

Baraga Area Schools - Online until Nov. 30

Bark River-Harris Schools - Grades 7-12 online until Nov. 30. Pre-K through Grade 6 will have normal face-to-face instruction. All students will have virtual school Nov. 23 and 24.

Bessemer Area Schools - Online until Nov. 16

Breitung Township Schools - Online until Nov. 23

Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw Schools - Online through Nov. 25

Ewen-Trout Creek School District - Online until Nov. 30

Finlandia University, Hancock - Moves online Nov. 16, remainder of Fall 2020 semester will be conducted remotely

Florence County Schools, Wisconsin - Online until Nov. 16

Gladstone Area Public Schools - Online Nov. 23 and 24

Gogebic Community College, Copper County Center, Houghton - Moving online following Thanksgiving break

Gogebic Community College, Ironwood Campus - Remainder of fall semester online

Gwinn Area Community Schools - Online until Nov. 30

Hannahville Indian School - Online until Jan. 6, 2021

Iron Mountain Public Schools - Online until Nov. 30

Ironwood Area Schools - Online until Nov. 16

L’Anse Area Schools - Online until Nov. 30

Marquette Area Public Schools - Online Nov. 23 and Nov. 24

Manistique Area Schools- Middle school and elementary school online until Dec. 2

Menominee Junior/Senior High School only - Online until Nov. 30

Mid Peninsula Schools (Rock) - Online until Nov. 30

North Dickinson Schools (Felch) - Online until Nov. 23

Norway-Vulcan Area Schools - Online until Nov. 23

Ontonagon Area Schools - Online until Nov. 30

Rapid River Schools - Online Nov. 23 and 24

Republic-Michigamme schools- k-12 online through Dec. 1

Superior Central - Closed Nov. 18 for contact tracing

Wakefield-Marenisco - Online until Nov. 16

Watersmeet Township - Online until Nov. 30

West Iron County - K-8 online Nov. 19 and 20

School districts are required to post daily coronavirus case numbers on their individual websites.

The MDHHS updates an online list every Monday afternoon about outbreaks in K-12 schools and colleges and universities. Schools should be reporting outbreaks to local health departments, who will then contact the state about outbreaks.
