Maine Game Warden, K-9 rescue second missing person of weekend
BREMEN (WGME) -- Maine Game Warden Jake Voter and Game Warden K-9 Koda rescued their second missing person of the weekend early Monday morning.
Voter and Koda rescued a missing 11-year-old girl on Friday.
They were called in to help find a missing 77-year-old woman in Bremen around 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
The woman had last been seen on Friday, and the backdoor of her house was open with her pocketbook and keys still inside.
Voter and Koda followed an old trail into the woods and found the woman more than 600 yards from her home around 12:40 a.m.
The woman was alert but severely dehydrated.
She told Voter that she had fallen and was too weak to get up, so she spent two nights in the woods.
The woman was taken to Lincoln Health Hospital in Damariscotta.
