What is your best memory from high school?

My best memory from high school was attending the Florida Girls State program. This was an awesome, week-long program that helped me narrow down my career goals and build new friendships with girls from all over the state.

How would you describe your senior year?

I would describe my senior year as hectic. I had classes online, at my high school and at Florida SouthWestern State College (for dual enrollment), plus on top of all that all my extracurricular activities. I would never get a break. Then at the end of the school year the pandemic happened, and it only got more insane from there.

Do you feel you missed out on anything during your senior year due to COVID-19?

I do feel like I missed out on prom and Grad Bash. I was really looking forward to those events. Since I had already bought my prom dress, shoes and accessories, I decided to get dressed up and take prom pictures with my date. This does not completely make up for the lost senior prom experience, but at least it is something to remember.
