A new Filipino spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Downtown, called Petite Peso, is located at 419 W. Seventh St.

Petite Peso's menu features pork lumpia (Vietnamese spring rolls), kare kare (beef) rice bowl and chicken adobo sandwich. It also offers family-style meat and vegan platters. View the menu here.

The fresh arrival has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp.

Lea N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 21, wrote, "...Fine Filipino cuisine made with only the finest ingredients."

And Williams A. noted, "...Perfect crisp on the lumpia and the crispy chicken skin is a cute touch on the adobo. Authentic Filipino comfort foods. Great service."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Petite Peso is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
