Ohio Senate bill would ban diversity training, faculty strikes among other things on college campuses

An Ohio State Senate bill would ban several things on college campuses in the name of "free and open intellectual inquiry."

Senate Bill 83, known as the Higher Education Enhancement Act, would prohibit mandatory diversity training, faculty strikes during contract negotiations, work with Chinese research institutions and political tests in hiring and admissions decisions.

It would also require universities to post all syllabi online, along with specific lecture information.

Universities would also have to list average student evaluation ratings.
