The largest expected protest for George Floyd in D.C. is underway and acts of generosity are taking place as volunteers are handing out snacks and water Saturday to demonstrators.

Ben's Chili Bowl is giving away free food to protesters in front of the Old Ebbitt Grill.

More volunteers throughout the District are also giving away sandwiches, snacks, and water. 

ABC7's Caroline Patrickis spoke to two people who are handing out water.  A man who serves in the U.S. Marine Corps says it's a great cause and he wanted to come out and support the protest.
