With abortion overturned, what else is next? The Supreme Court’s five-member majority said 50 years of abortion rulings, starting with Roe, should be overturned as it isn’t “deeply rooted in this nation’s history and tradition,” according to Justice Alito. But this ruling has brought more questions like what could be next? Many worry about what will happen to birth control or same-sex marriage; as Justice Thomas mentioned, they should also be re-examined. Though revoking same-sex marriage is unlikely as there aren’t nationwide moments formed to oppose it, there is nothing to prevent the future court from striking it down.

Highway 9 (Alpharetta Highway) is now back open after a portion of it was briefly shut down.
A portion of the major highway in north Fulton County was blocked Monday morning due to a gas main break, the Roswell Fire Department posted.
Highway 9 (Alpharetta Highway) connects Alpharetta and Roswell and is frequently used for commuters in place of Georgia 400.
The gas main break seemed to be in the area of PepBoys Auto, Wendy's, a few local eateries, and office spaces.
Authorities were asking travelers to avoid the area as crews work to fix the break.
Atlanta Gas Light previously sent this statement to 11Alive:
"A contractor unrelated to Atlanta Gas Light struck a 2-inch natural gas main near the 11000 block of Alpharetta Highway in Alpharetta while installing a storm drain; however, Atlanta Gas Light crews are now on the scene working with first responders to safely make repairs. As a result of the damage, natural gas service for approximately 100 customers has been temporarily disconnected. We will work as safely and swiftly as possible to make repairs and restore service."
Service should be restored in the area.
