Car hits pole near Legoland, knocks out power
A small power outage created a big problem Wednesday afternoon for Legoland.
The Tampa Bay-area theme park went without power for about an hour after a car hit a pole outside the property, Tampa Electric spokesperson Cherie Jacobs said.
Legoland had earlier tweeted that an incident outside its property caused the outage. Some apparent damage was being repaired, and park officials said they expected the situation to be resolved within the hour.
An incident outside of LEGOLAND Florida caused our Resort to lose power for a brief period of time this afternoon. Tampa Electric is already onsite repairing the damage, and we expect the situation to be resolved within an hour.
