RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WMTV) -- Classes are canceled for the entire Richland School District on Thursday due to the spread of Influenza A, officials tell NBC15 News.

School officials say that the district is already scheduled to be closed on Friday. Parent-teacher conferences have also been canceled.

Officials say while Influenza A is a threat to students, the closures have been ordered mainly because a high number of teachers and staff have called in sick.
