Sacramento jobs spotlight: Recruiting for registered nurses going strong

Sacramento is seeing strong demand for registered nurses' skills. Employers in the industry posted 104 new jobs over the past week, and 568 in the last month, more than for any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local Registered Nurse also came in seventh in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 26 companies listed open jobs for Sacramento-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local registered nurses is Kaiser Permanente. "Founded in 1945, Kaiser Permanente is recognized as one of America's leading health care providers and not-for-profit health plans," states one of the company's recently posted job openings.

Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include Procare USA. According to one of its recent job openings, "Procare USA is a national medical staffing agency specializing in the recruitment and placement of all medical professionals such as registered nurses, allied healthcare professionals, doctors, pharmacists and many more."

InSync Consulting also posted jobs for project managers.
