San Bernardino County health officials reported 3,435 new coronavirus cases Monday and 15 deaths since Sunday.
The county death toll stands at 1,546. The county has recorded 231,750 cases since the start of the pandemic.
Active cases: The county's total number of known, active coronavirus cases is 20,165. This total is derived by subtracting deaths (1,546) and recoveries (210,048) from the current confirmed case total of 231,750.
Vaccines: As of Monday, San Bernardino County has vaccinated 28,290 residents.
Hospitalizations: San Bernardino County reported 1,720 confirmed COVID-19 patients in its hospitals as of Monday. Of those, 356 were being cared for in intensive care units, down three since Sunday.
Patients with confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19 are occupying 61.2% of the county's ICU beds. The county said it had 127 ICU beds available as of Monday.
San Bernardino County is included in the 11-county Southern California region that is currently under state-mandated stay-at-home orders due to the region's low number of available ICU beds.
