SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are five events that you don't want to miss in Sarasota County.

What: S.M.L. Food Trucks Festival

When: Saturday, noon to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Fruitville Grove Farm Market, 7410 Fruitville Road, Sarasota

This free family-friendly event features more than 30 food trucks and vendors, live music, outdoor activities, dance classes, children’s activities and more. Learn more here.

What: Taco & Tequila Crawl

When: Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.

Where: Downtown Sarasota. Check in at Raffurty’s, 1888 Main Street, Sarasota.

General admission tickets get you three tacos, a Taco Crawl koozie, exclusive drink specials at every stop, and exclusive party stops to dance off the tacos and margaritas. Participating restaurants include Raffurty’s, Evie’s Tavern, Circo, The Office, 3 Pepper Burrito Co. and Smokin’ Joe’s. Learn more here.

What: 51st annual Deveraux-Kaiser Car Show

When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota

Hosted by the Sarasota Firefighters Benevolent Fund, this show features more than 500 vehicles and is one of the largest in Florida. The show is open to all cars, trucks, motorcycles, hot rods, and customs, military and service vehicles 25 years and older. No judging, registration or charge for show vehicles. In addition to a car corral, this event features vendors, food trucks and a beer garden. Entry is $5 per person. Kids 10 and under get in free. Learn more here.

What: Earth Day Celebration

When: Saturday, 10 a.m. – noon

Where: Sarasota Children’s Garden, 1670 10th Way, Sarasota

Visit the Drawing Tree to create collaborative art and make leaf rubbings. Make a Bug Hotel using recycled items. Check out the Planting Station and sow seeds to take home. Learn more here.

What: Artist Series Concert: Heat Latin Jazz Band

When: Sunday, 3 to 4 p.m.

Where: Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota

Heat Latin Jazz Band is a vibrant seven-piece salsa/Latin Jazz group featuring students from Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida Southwestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida. Their music covers a wide variety of traditional Latin music, ranging from salsa classics, Latin jazz and original compositions. Tickets are $35. Learn more and purchase tickets here.
